How did the idea of the Happynecks® products come about?
Jerry (physical therapist) encountered many dentists in his private practice with various neck and shoulder complaints. In addition, many patients complained of neck pain after dental treatment. Jerry contacted his partner Peter. Together they decided to investigate the ergonomics and support of the neck during dental care. To this end, they enlisted the help of dental care providers from their circle of acquaintances. They soon discovered that there was much to be gained here.... Peter then challenged Jerry to go to the drawing board and make a sketch of the ideal neck support in a treatment chair. Result: Happynecks® version 1 was born :)
With feedback from dentists and patients, the product was further developed into the current version. It was tested by 151 patients, with 96% indicating they would want to use the pillow again during their next treatment. This result strengthens our belief that we have developed a great product that provides patients with optimal support and comfort during treatment.
